Thousands of courageous individuals have walked through our doors seeking relief, clarity, and a path forward,and each one has left a lasting imprint on the heart of this center.

Today, we are sharing an important update about our future.

Our Residential Program Will Close at the End of 2025

After extensive reflection and careful consideration, we have decided to close our residential inpatient program and fully transition into outpatient therapy services as of December 31, 2025. This decision was made with deep respect for our history, our mission, and the integrity of the care we provide.

This next chapter will allow us to continue supporting individuals in a focused, sustainable, and accessible way, while carrying forward the wisdom and legacy built over many meaningful years.

Paradise Valley Healing Center has always been more than a place to stay. It has been a sanctuary. A refuge for people who needed time, space, guidance, and compassion. A home where healing unfolded gently, moment by moment.

And every staff member brought their heart, presence, and unwavering dedication to creating a safe and nurturing environment. Together, we built something extraordinary.

Our Journey: A Look Back at Our History

Over nearly two decades, the center has grown, evolved, and touched lives around the world. Here is a look at the milestones that shaped our story:

● June 2006 — Began the zoning process to offer residential services

● July 2008 — Received rezoning and approval for residential treatment

● May 2009 — Received our first business license

● October 8, 2009 — Granted permit from Vancouver Coastal Health Authority

● October 22, 2009 — Established relationship with Dr. Deepak Chopra & The Chopra Center

● November 13, 2009 — Official welcome event with Dr. David Simon, staff, and community

● December 9–11, 2009 — First staff training session

● March 29, 2010 — Welcomed our first guests

● February 17, 2011 — Visit from Dr. Deepak Chopra

● October 12, 2012 — Official name change to Chopra Addiction & Wellness Center

● 1,368 guests served from 17 countries

● 4,365 total treatment weeks provided

● 425 weeks of care offered to guests with financial barriers

We Are Still Here—And Still Helping

Although our residential program is coming to a close, our commitment to care remains unwavering.

Beginning in 2026, we will continue serving individuals through outpatient therapy services, offering ongoing therapeutic support, continued care for alumni, accessible healing options for those not seeking residential treatment.
